• Sourcing & Sizing Data:Product purchase links, descriptions, sizing parameters, photos taken during on-ground quality inspections, and chat transcripts with our AI Courier assistant.
• Device & Usage Details:Your internet protocol (IP) address, operating system, browser configuration, location (country level), and cookie identifiers.

We process your personal information for the following specific operations:

• Coordinating local Personal Shoppers to find and purchase products.
• Inspecting packages arriving at our central warehouse in India for size, color, and fabric defects.
• Consolidating shipments into secure, lightweight parcels and printing custom export invoices.
• Processing courier deliveries using international partners (e.g. DHL, FedEx).
• Optimizing the conversational responses of our Courier GPT assistant.
• Ensuring system safety by preventing shipping frauds and account takeovers.

We process personal data under the following lawful grounds:

• Contract Fulfillment: Processing is required to perform your consolidated shipments and source items.
• Explicit Consent: Sourcing preferences and video/photo check verifications are processed based on your active consent.
• Legal Obligation: Sharing declarations with Indian export and destination country import customs departments.

To deliver your consolidated packages, we share specific limited information with:

• Shopping Buddies: Local shopping assistants receive descriptions of the goods they need to procure, but do not receive your final international shipping address.
• Courier Carriers: DHL, FedEx, UPS, or EMS receive your name, address, email, and phone number for destination delivery.
• Payment Processors: Secure PCI-compliant gateways handle card processing. We do not store raw card numbers.
• Customs Authorities: Registered export invoices stating item values and descriptions are submitted to customs offices in India and your destination country.

Because tellmewhatuwant connects global clients with on-ground shopping and warehouse networks in India, your personal data is transferred across international borders. We store and process details on secure cloud networks located in India, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

We ensure that all host cloud environments utilize standard cross-border data transfer agreements and strict access control guidelines to maintain the absolute privacy of your records.

We retain transaction invoices, shipping logs, and user profile information for as long as your account remains active or as required by corporate tax laws (typically up to seven years under Indian financial rules). Sourcing request drafts and quality check photos that are not finalized into active courier orders are deleted after 90 days of inactivity.

No matter where you reside, we grant you the following rights regarding your personal records:

• Access & Portability: You can request a readable file copy of all profile, address, and order histories we store.
• Rectification: You can edit incorrect shipping details or update contact details at any point.
• Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You can request the permanent removal of your account and sourcing drafts, provided there are no active transit deliveries or pending invoices.
• Consent Withdrawal: You can withdraw consent for email communications or optional marketing highlights.

We implement multiple technical security controls to prevent data misuse:

• TLS/HTTPS encryption for all web, app, and API interactions.
• Secure socket layer storage of customer details.
• Strict access controls limiting order and address visibility only to authorized warehouse managers.

Please note that while we use industry-standard precautions, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

Our concierge and cargo sourcing services are not designed for, or marketed to, individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect, store, or process personal records of minors.
